    Line Graph Help

I was wondering if someone might be able to tell me how I can take two data sets, the first one ranging from say 1-20 and compare it with a line graph, with a second data set ranging from 1-10,000. Basically I want to look at the smaller set and see where the larger set falls on the lines.

The problem I am having is with one set being so much larger than the other, the first line is basically flat while the second (larger set) moves as planned.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

You need to plot the smaller series against a second y-axis (which will show on the right-hand side of the chart.) To do this simply right-click your "flat" line, select "Format Data Series" and then plot series on secondary axis.

Following on from my last post, a very quick example is attached. This actually shows one data set (series) as a line and the other as a column. To do this right click the line that you want to change to a column and then select "change series chart type".

Note how the start point for both series is identical for day one. This is good practice to follow as it shows the relative position for each subsequent day.
