    Embed Data in Chart

Is there anyway to imbed data in a chart that the chart is not created from.

For example, I input information in A1:E6, but I manipulate the input and place it in F1:J6. My graph is based upon F1:J6 put I want A1:E6 to be embedded in the chart.

    Is that possible?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

what do you mean by "embedding" A1:E6 in the chart? If your chart plots the values of F1:J6, what is it that you want to do with the values in A1:E6?

Okay, not embed, but show. Isn't there a way to show data with a chart?

I wanted to know is there a way to show data in the chart that is not the source data.

THe user will place inputs and I manipulate the data to create my source data but the source data is not I want to show with the graph because it is to granular.

Can you not just place the chart next to the data in the cells?

You can use textboxes linked to cells to display information. But 30 bits of information is quite a lot to maintain in terms of links and layout.
