    Chart questions

In the attached are two charts one from last year and the current year, what I can't seem to get is the target (last column) in the current year to appear like last i.e. across the other columns, thus, indicating the benchmark figure.

When I try this the target line disappears, and all I'm left with is the percentage label.

    many thanks.

    Re: Chart questions

Please edit you title to something more meaningful

In the second chart you only have 1 data points. So changing Target series to a line chart results in a single Marker in the middle of the columns.

In order to plot a line you need at least 2 points.

If you plot the point as xy-scatter series you can use Horizontal Error bar.

    Re: Chart questions

Your chart from last year plots four quarters and thus can plot the target series as a line because it has enough data points to do so.

Your current chart consists of only one quarter, presumably one data point, so a line for the target series cannot be plotted as a line.

That being said, to plot the target series a line (when you have enough data points), select that series and format it by changing the chart type to Line.
