Yes I want to take 4 rows of data and make 2 separate bar graphs on one chart. When I highlight two rows and create the bar graph I see the chart but how do i add the second 2 rows and import that into that new chart

It's not clear from you post what you want or have already tried.
Can you post example file with current charts and more information about what you are trying to do.
Ok I attached the excel with the data that I am looking to put in a stacked bar graph. If you look you will see Pre-RC1-Fixed and RC1-Fixed i want those two values to be represented in one stacked bar graph and the other Pre-RC1-Overcome by Events and RC1 Overcome by events in a second stacked bar graph side by side on one chart.
By the way thanks for your last help on that other chart its still a work in progress
Have a look at the attached example. Then describe how the chart should look if not correct.
Nice is it possible instead of an object can you put it on its own chart
No formula. It's all to do with data layout.
Notice the values are staggered and the chart is based on the range B1:D4 with the chart plotted by Rows.
Right click chart and pick Location. Specify chart sheet.
Ok but still based on the data I sent you are you highlighting. The values 24 14 11 and 20 ->Then select chart button choose Stacked Column from the Chart sub type.
Yes,
Select B1:D4
Chart wizard > Column chart > Stacked.
Set Plotby Rows.
If you only select those cells no data appears why B1 D4 instead A1 to B4. Also do you select series in rows or columns
That's definitely it but what formula was used
Actually I was looking at the chart you sent me I see now what you did in your chart
