    Waterfall chart

    Hello,

Could anybody help me get my waterfall chart to work ? I have tried using the method from John Peltier i found in the forums. But i am doing something wrong ? I have attached the file with the data and the chart.
Somehow the chart will not cross the x axes ?

Thanks in advance for your help !

    Re: Waterfall chart

Firstly we can not see you actual data as the cells are linked to a workbook on your pc.
Second why do you think there is a need to cross the zero line. Your data suggests everything is in the positive section.
    Your starting amount is 28598
with the largest change being 255

Did you mess up comma and decimal characters?
    Cheers

    Re: Waterfall chart

Sorry for the linked numbers, i was under impression that i deleted the links.
I have attached a new file.
I cant figure out how to get it to look a genuine waterfall, with the positive and negative impacts ?

    Sorry for the confusion.

    Re: Waterfall chart

Again, you have no values that causes the waterfall to cross the zero axis.

If you format the series according to their descriptions you will get the waterfall chart.

The thing that maybe confusing you is that the columns inbetween endpoints are not clearly visible, due to the same values.

I have included a chart where the base line is 28,000.
