Hi all:
I receive the subject error "Unable to set the ScrollColumn property of the Window class" while generating a chart. What could cause this error to be displayed. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have code that's trying to set the scroll column while the chart is selected.

Hi shg:
Thank you for your kind email. Along with this issue, one user is receiving a Microsoft Visual Basic dialog box:
"Compile error in hidden module: SumIf_MenuAndInit"
The operating system is Windows Vista and Excel 2003. The application however has been saved as a 2003-2007 compatible Excel spreadsheet. Any thoughts on this? Thanks.

Did you write the code? Post the line that gives the error (or all of it).

Andy helped me a lot with this part of the code on Screen 7. I have zipped my copy of the relevant section for your kind review. Note, that I am not experiencing these issue and am using Windows XP Professional, and have Office 2007. Thank you.

PS: I have been getting a "Database Error" message from Exceltip each time I tried to upload the file. Is there an alternative way of sending you the attachment? Thanks.
Try zipping it.
The file was zipped. I'll give it another shot now. I still receive e the same database error message. Size of the file is 1,893KB.

I would think it's a safe bet you can comment out that line.
Scrollcolumn sounds like something the macro record spat out whist you where using the scrollbar to move the sheet.
Hi Andy:
Interestingly this error does not show up on my PC (Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2007). This particular instance happens to be on a Windows Vista Operating system with Excel 2003. I was unable to duplicate this error (i.e., the ScrollColumn error). Even the Run time Error was for that particular user only. So not sure how to address it. Thanks for stepping in Andy.
