Chart change based on cell value

    Hi Folks,

I have been asked to chart the data onto sheet 1, in the attached workbook, based upon "state" (Column C, on Sheet 2), Graphing not being my strong suite I have no idea on how to get the result that I have been asked to do.

I need the graphs to change the data shown when the state button is clicked.

    Thanks in advance

There must be better alternatives to the attached but it shows one possibility

In the attached each shape within the shape range is renamed per State code such that when clicked the Application.Caller can be used to update a Name which stores the selected state.

The source data has been converted to a Table object and the additional fields generate Q1:Q8 source data (for each chart) based on record State and selected State.

Thanks DonkeyOte, this does the trick nicely.

With the exception of ensuring the Pie values are colour coded, the rest of the required features I can manage my self, I just can't figure out John Peltiers examples here.
