Attached is a bubble chart that a member of the forum assisted to create. I have been cracking my head in trying to adjust the y-axis to display non numeric texts (as per column B) but to no avail. As such I'm back again to seek your assistance.

A bubble chart shows numeric data on 2 axis. What you are asking for is the same as saying "my calcluator wont add up cat + dog".
Add another series using X values of 2000 for each point and the values 1-10 for Y values, with bubble size of 0.01. Add data labels to that series only, and then edit each label to point at the cells with the Supplier name you want for each value. finally clear the existing Y axis labels.

Not sure if you opened the file to see what I meant or perhaps I did not make myself clear in the title. The chart shows a heat map in bubbles,I want to incorporate non numeric texts (in column B) on the y axis instead of numerics (Column C). Are you telling me that this cannot be done?

Hi JosephP. Thank you for your example. Is there a way to show "Supplier A", "Supplier B" on y axis instead of 1, 2, 3 etc.? According to Mallycat, the answer is no. Is there a way?
did you actually look at the sample-that is what it shows
