    Colouring of single line graph

    Hi!
I have a single line graph, and i need to know how to make all the upward slopes on the line graph green, and all the downward slopes on the same line red. Apparently there's some formula to do so. Please help!

Not sure that conditional example is appropriate for this problem.

The OP wants red downward line segements and green upward ones, rather than changing colour when crossing a datum.

It can be done with formula and some manual editing.
First you need to change the chart type to xy-scatter rather than Line in order to specify when a line segment starts and finishes.
The formula in columns V:W build the required xy pairs whilst setting upwards movements to #NA().
The formula in columns S:T are the same but I then used CTRL+G to select special cells, Formula/Errors. And then cleared the #NA()'s from the range.

This clean set of data can then be used to plot the downward slopes.
