Dynamic Chart- data summarized by three filters

    Dear Experts,

I would like to ask for your help. I am preparing a chart (base data is Historical Payroll Cost) that should be based on three filters: Area, Location, Function - line 5 on Dashboard in the attached file. The filters should work independently. The base data is Historic Hours Earning Input that is summarized in a Pivot table. I have managed to do the first filter and it works but I realized I would need a different solution to have all the three working. Can you please suggest how to do it.....many thanks, Kati/Froggy

Hi froggy50 and welcome to the forum.

I've created a Pivot Chart using your data on Sheet2. See if my example helps. I don't think I've put the correct fields in the filter but you can rearrange them a little.

Dear Marvin - Many thanks, it solves for one chart.

The thing is I forgot to add to the initial description that I would have more data sets with more charts and I would like to have them based on the same filters. The data sets cannot be consolidated into one pivot table as they are significantly different....also, as for design....the filters should be above the charts and the chart base data should be based on a different place on the sheet so it cannot be seen........any idea how to do that.....I could not upload the whole file because of size restrictions here, but I added an example data set....many thanks
