I need to compile a series of plots that will display ocean current data over a period of time and depths. I have the following Fields:
Date (DD.HH.MM)
Depth (ft)
Speed (knots)
Direction (degree 0-360)
The goal is to create a display like the one attached (or with same idea), with depth on the Y-axis, Date/time on the x and at each depth&time, there will be a vector with magnitude of "speed" and points in the direction of "direction".

It's possible put you would need to calculate and build all of the xy pair values for each data point.
You would use a xy-scatter, a series for each speed band. You would need to calculate the start and end position of the line based on the depth/time and speed/direction vector.
In order to get all the individual vector arrows you would need to include a gap between xy pairs so you may find the easiest way to do this is via code. Especially if you need to produce a chart daily.
