Hi everyone,
I have three xy data series that I wish to plot on the same chart. All x values are age and are unevenly spaced (e.g. 1, 3, 4, 6.3, 10, 11, 11.5 etc. rather than 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.) but cover the same range, and all y values are concentration. All of series 1 has higher y values than series 2 does, and series 3 covers the whole range. I'd like to shade the area between series 1 and 2, and then plot series 3 as a line on top. So far I have done an area chart for series 1, and the same for series 2 but made series 2 on top of series 1, and series 2 shaded the same colour as the chart background. The problem I have is that the x axis automatically switches to evenly spaced categories which is not what I want!
Any ideas? FYI I'm using Macs and Excel 2005 and 2011.
Thanks in advance!
