highlight a range of data in a chart

attached please find a chart as an example, i would like to ask if there is any simple method to highlight some ranges (like the charts, the 20-30% range and 70-80% range are highlighted)? thanks a lot.

add aditional series plotted as stacked area to create the bands.

i am sorry,
(1) when i copy the table and select the chart, i can't find "paste special" box to add the new column to the chart
(2) i can't find in "change of chart type" any stacked column to be added
do i need to add-in anything to excel to do this?

Hi,

First you should add a new data series (right-click, add data...). Thereafter you can change the chart type for this series (right-click, series chart type...).
