Question How do you fill mixed row lables down a column?

    Hello All,

In a pivot table, is it possible to fill mixed row labels down the column?

I don't know exactly what to call it, but is there a way to automate this process in a pivot table?

I tried typing in a small example, but I couldn't format it correctly in the message box. But imagine the first column (A) in a pivot table. Down its length are the row labels: 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. These labels have many blank cells between them.

I'll be using the pivot table data in another process and this is how I need the data to be presented, but I do not want to have to double click or drag every row label as this would take a lot of time.

    Thanks for any help!

Yes, thank you Andy. That is helpful.

The first option in that link makes me want to update to excel 2010! Unfortunately, I'm still using 2007 and I do not have "repeat all item labels" option. Alas, I will use the second option.
