Is there a maximum number of columns available to put into a line graph?

What I am trying to do I didnt think would be that hard, but I am trying it in Excell and numbers for Mac and I am getting the same result. I took 23 different sound meter readings from around a site. For each point there are 11 different DB readings for each of the different sound octaves. all I want to do is plot all of these on a line graph to compare them against what the local noise ordinance is. But every time I get over 10 points of data, it changes the outlook of the whole graph, changes my axis all around and I dont understand it. Please help. Attached is the file as well as a JPEG screenshot to help explain. Thanks

I don't know why Excel decides to switch rows and columns at some point but you can just switch it back.Servercool data Switch Row and Column.jpg

The data is there now but it is still doing something weird. On the left side or Y-axis, the range went from 0-60 to 0-1200. The data lines should be more random and overlap (as in my first screenshot) rather than mirror each other and not touch. I cant figure out why its doing this when you add on another column of data.

that is weird, because in my file on my screen, it follows exactly the same pattern as your 1st graph with only 9 points.

see attached file, it contains a screenshot of the graph as well as the graph.

let me know if they are different?

Yes. It is strange. Both of your replies with your files when I open them look like this...

The scale on the left is wrong. If you hover over the individual points on the graph, it will tell you the value, but for some reason it doesn't correspond to the value listed on the Y-axis. Doesnt make any sense.

ok, i think i have found your problem. you have the graph set as a stacked line. change it to a regular line graph

let me know if that fixes it?
