    Transpose with different counts of items per identifyer

    I have names in a list and differing numbers of values in the second column.
    eg:
    sam has 3 entries
    bob has 5 entries
    Jill has 2 entries.

    I want one line per name and the entries transposed on each line. See attached please.

    Give this macro a try. Results will be added to sheet2

    If you can create a list of unique names, you can use the method in the attached file...
