Stacked line chart not charting properly - HELP?

I'm not even sure how to search this issue... All attempts have come up empty...

I have data pulled into a stacked line chart. The lines should all show trending numbers separately from each other (no overlap). As it stands, the data labels are correct but the placement on the chart is incorrect. See attached screenshot. Help???

The bottom (purple) line seems to be correct.
The rest are not plotting properly. You can see the numbers go down in value but the line goes up. I have no idea how to fix this.....

I'd be happy to help if I can, but how about a workbook instead of a picture!

Let me see if I can recreate the error... I cannot simply submit the file because it has a lot of highly confidential business information.

Was able to just copy the data in question over to a new book and it still charted wrong. Does it have something to do with the numbers being percentages?

Change the chart type from stacked line with markers to a line with markers.

Does this do it for you?

That gets the numbers right, but I want to see trendlines for each series without them overlapping. Isn't that the point of the stacked line chart? (That's a serious question... Am I using the stacked line chart incorrectly?)

I'm not sure I know how to answer your question as I don't really know what you want out of your data.

By the definition of trends, ones up and maybe ones down, wouldn't they maybe overlap then?

I've never had reason to use a stacked line chart, althought I have used a stacked bar chart from time to time.

It is normally used to show the total of each point stacked one on top of the other showing the total cumulatively.

Maybe a quick google search on the use of charts and which one is better for what types of scenarios.
