Hi,
I`ve created a data set linked to dates, which I have formatted as 'Date'.
Then, I created an XY Scatter chart but on the X-bar, dates are shown wrong: 10 January 1900...
However, if I select a single point in the chart, is does show the right value... xx/xx/2012
Anyone knows what could be wrong?

do the Y values look correct? (just checking if the plot isn't inverted)

Thanks for your quick reaction. Y-values are normal.
When I use for instance a Line Graph, it does show the right dates. However, then (while I want to have 2 lines with different Y and X values) I can`t align both lines properly.
if you are using separate axes that is probably the root of the problem but it would be very helpful to see the chart
Two different ranges for x-bar are used. However, they cover the same period (year 2011-2012) only one has weekly data points, the other daily.
How come :
-1900 is shown continuously on x-bar
- one of both bars, doesn`t cover the total space on the x bar (last x-bar-value for both lines is somewhere in november 2012)

you've included blank cells in the source ranges which are considered to be 0 and 0 is treated as 0 days from 31/12/1899 in excel. if you change the ranges to only include real data you won't see the problem
