In Pivot Table, Value Field Settings, the default setting in "Summarize Value Field" is COUNT
Can this be set to default to SUM for all files opened in Excel
In Pivot Table, Value Field Settings, the default setting in "Summarize Value Field" is COUNT
Can this be set to default to SUM for all files opened in Excel
the default setting cannot be changed but it varies depending on your data. if your field is all numeric (no blanks or text) then the default will be sum otherwise it will be count.
