Have the pivot table, lost the raw data!

An excel file I've been using successfully for 4 years, with 12 years of data, was used by a colleague while I was on mat leave last year. Upon my return, I found the file and the pivot table intact, but the worksheet with the raw data on it has disappeared. More strangely, the pivot table seems to know where the data is because it still works and all the data is there. The problem is that I can't add recent data to the series because I don't know where the raw data's gone! Is there a way to find it? Many thanks from this newbie to the forum.

    Hi

place your cursor in the pivot table, and then select the Change Data Source action from the ribbon. This should show where the data is currently located.
