    Charts formatting--long shot

I know Excel probably can't do this, but it doesn't hurt asking. I have 30 charts and they all have a set of data titled 2012, typed in as text in the source. I would like to change all of these to 2013. Is there a way I can do this without having to go into each chart? I'm sure I should have set it up differently (rather than typing in the name) so that would be good to know too for next time. Thanks.

What do you mean "typed/ as text in the source"?
If the source is worksheet cells, why can't you just use the Replace feature?

It will be more clear if you are more explicit about the source or, better, upload a sample workbook.
