Pivot table with 2 colums combined--- displayed together

I use pivot tables a ton and can't find the right words to Google this for. This is how my sheet is made up

A B C D
name # value name # value


I am trying to get a pivot to display

A B
name avg value


How can I combine the (A, C) with the averages? Some of the names may be repeated in both columns but not on the same line.
