    Can't find a solution with a graph

    Greetings everyone,

I have two variables: x=Frequency (Ηz) and y=dB.

I can't figure out which graph to use

The graph should look like the picture example.png

Please give me directions on how to create such a graph, because I need to make more than one.

    Thank you

Scatter chart, logarithmic on the x axis and linear on y (decibels is already a logarithmic measure).

    Re: Graph problem

    Hello Marpal86

    Welcome to the forums

I would recommend doing a XY Scatter with Straight Lines and Markers.

Then change your Horizontal Axis to a Logarithmic Scale. Here it is in Excel:

    Re: Graph problem

I would use Scatter With Straight Lines and Markers, and the right-click on the x-axis and select the option for Logarithmic Scale, base 10. Example attached.

Right-click the x axis, Format Axis, tick Logarithmic. The minimum x value must be set to either Automatic or something > 0.

The data you have will never look like the first curve you posted; the first is a low-pass filter, and yours looks more like a bandpass filter.
