change the color of a line in a chart

How can I change the color of a series line in a chart legend? The problem is that the data hasn't come in yet, so the legend defaults to a color but I can't select the data to change it (which is what I normally do) Any advice? Thanks.

Select the chart >> Layout tab >> Current Selection >> In the Drip down select the series

Now change the color by going to the Design tab >> Chart Styles

Thanks. I figured out you can just select the name in the legend and just format it like you would a series.
