Attached is a metrix I am trying to build to track work in and out of the my lab for the year. The month tabs are basically programmed for what I want to track and how but I have a problem. There is a tab at the end of the workbook labeled "Lab View" The intent of this is to be up on a secondary screen in our lab t otrack only the items in the lab. My plan was to have this tab "Lab View" look at Column A of the month tabs and display only the items labeled "in Lab. I need to be able to view Columns B through M in the "lab view" tab so we can have basically a real time view of whats happening in the lab. I was hoping to basically filter with a formula and then sort that information based on the priorities described in Column M. 1 being at the top of the list, 4 at the bottom.
I've tried building a second workbook that essentially mirrored the attached with formulas and that didn't work. I tried sharing the workbook and that didnt do what I wanted either.
I need the Lab View tab to:
Auto update when new items come in or column A shows something new in lab. Respectfully I need it to go away if column A does not state in lab.
I need it to be done realatively easily IE in very fiew kestrokes for the person updating the "active tabs" persay...
Can anyone help?
Also the read only password is "locked" Sorry.
protections are setup if you lock the individual tabs.
