    Relational reference in Graph

I have a large amount of data in repetitive blocks, 1 block for each geographical subdivision. I want to extract certain data from each block, summarize it as a group of contiguous cells, and then display the summarized data as a bar graph. I would like to do a copy of the extracted summary and graph and then paste that adjacent to each of the following blocks. The copy work fine for the extracted summary data with the cell relationships in place, however, the pasted chart does not update the relationships, but continues to refer to the cells of the original (first) created graph.

How do I get the chart references to be relational?
    Best regards,
    Lram

    Hi Lram,

I don't think you can make the chart relational. For instance, if you copy and paste the chart one cell to the right, Excel just thinks you are moving the chart, not the referenced range.

You can make a copy of the chart and then manually modify the data to the new range.

Here is how to make a copy of the chart in reference to the same data in a new range.
