Help. Must generate chart from drop down lists and entries.

Very new with Excel, so any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

So I've got a spreadsheet which contains a bunch of data relating to faulty items.
Each row is a new entry, some columns have drop down lists and others are general data entry points (reported issue#1, #2, Supplier, Item status...).

I would like to generate a 2D bar graph which displays the reported problems (drop down list) X-axis VS Amount of faults recorded Y-axis.
If I could also generate it for each supplier that would be great.

In short, Select supplier and generated relevant graph display the faults and the amount in a given period or selected range.

Example of spreadsheet layout…

Entry#/date/reported by/Product/Part category/Part number/Reported problem#1/Reported problem#2/comments/Supplier/

Just upload this after replacing confidential data, if any
