Rolling finance chart. Move Data over 1 row when month changes

    Hello, ExcelForum.

I have searched the internet high and low and I am currently troubleshooting this myself, but I would really appreciate any assistance that can be provided.

This is going to be a 13 month chart for finances and should be able to accomplish two tasks

    1. When the most recent month, March (E1) changes to April, Cell D1 should become March, Cell C1 should become February, and Jan should be dropped entirely.

    2. When the months roll over, the financial data corresponding to that month needs to move with it. Everything from $E$1:$E$34 should move to $D$1:$D$34

I really appreciate any help that can be provided. I am running Microsoft Excel 2013. Please let me know if more information is needed.

    Thank you

Please see attached file - 3MnthView.xlsx.

The second sheet will contain all the data you need and the first sheet is your 3 month view.

    Hope this helps,

I like what you did but I'm not sure it's quite what I meant. I appreciate the help though

I just need a single sheet where when the most recent month (E1) increments, the data in that cell from March should move to D1, and the data from D1 should move to C1. The data from C1 should just be dropped completely.

I don't think that is possible without a macro of som sort if it is possible.
Manually copying/pasting is only way I can think of doing this myself.

Will keep my eye out for a soluton on this one!
