    Gantt charts for scheduling

    Hi

I want to create a chart that shows my schedule. This is my scenerio.

I have one machine. I run the machine in two shifts. In both shifts I handle different projects. I need the graph to show both the schedules with different colours. and I have other projects lined up after the current project and also some project that is likely to be done. I have attached a sheet. I am able to plot only one shift data can anyone help me.

    Thanks
    Regards
    Ram

    Hi Ram8516,

    Welcome to the forums.

I would recommend putting your data into a different format.

I used this tutorial and modified it for multiple tasks in the attachment.

I can try and modify your data late tonight, but does this help? Let me know.

    Hi Ram8516,

Here is my solution to your question.

Here is the file: Gantt by Project by Machine.xlsx

This uses Gantt Charts (see the like I posted above) as well as multi-level category axis'. You can learn more about multi-level categories here:

    Hi Ram,

Are you trying to do something like this?

Add Multiple Percentages Above Column Chart or Stacked Column Chart

    Let me know.

    Thanks
