Large amount of data into chart with options to filter?

    Hi All,

I'd appreciate any help with the attached data.

Basically the data looks at sales of two brands in 3 territories which are also split down into sub territories and postal areas over a 12 month period.

What i'd like to be able to do is chart the data (pivot chart??) so that i can filter down by various options ( territory/sub territory/postal area etc) to be able to look at either individual brand sales or compare by the two brands in that particular option?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Large amount of data into chart with options to filter?

Many thanks for your reply dilipandey.

How would i get it to display as a line Graph with all the months across the x axis and value on the y axis so i could visually see the sales changes over time?

Also, when using the filters, if for example i filter on territory 'East' how do i then get the next filter to only give the appropriate sub territory's as options i.e 'Sec 1' and 'sec 2'?and so on..

    Thanks in advance!

    HI chifans,

In order to have months on x-axis, you need to re-arrange the months in your data table and display them in a column with heading as "months".
And as per me, the filters you asked are not possible in pivot charts. thanks.
