    A Chart showing win/loss tendencies

    Hello,

I am currently trying to make a chart that can display the Win/Loss tendencies of a team. I would be a simple column chart So on the X axis, there is the date (this isn't where my problem is). Where I need help is with the X axis.

I would like the column to be +1 when there is a win, +2 after 2 wins (in a row), 3+ after 3 wins (in a row), etc, and once there is a loss, the chart would be at -1. So pretty much what it does is it shows win and loss streaks, resetting in a way every time a streak is broken.

I think this might be a bit ambitious. I have worked quite a bit with excel but I have no idea how to make this work.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank You for your time!

    Justin

you should be able to by comparing the previous cell and adding one with an IF
so I started in row three

    =IF(B3="win",IF(C2=-1,1,C2+1),-1)

    Date / Win/loss / Calc
