Counting chart

I'm having a voting table such as:
1/5 a
1/5 b
1/5 a
2/5 c
2/5 b

I want to show a chart, describing how many votes for each option - one column with label a and value 2, one column with label b and value 2 and one column with label c and value 1
How can I achieve that?

Hi and welcome to the forum

I see that almost 40 members have viewed your thread but none have responded. That would suggest to me that members are unsure of what you are asking, perhaps you could explain in more detail what you want, and maybe upload a sample work book, (all sensitive data removed), showing what data you are working with, a few examples of what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Re: Counting chart

Thank you FDibbins.
I've simplified my workbook in order to make a clear example.
I want to summarize the 2nd column (named "1st question") in the chart.
As a workaround, I computed each value count (D4:E9), but I'd like to have it directly in the graph without my "staging" computation - I have many questions and many different answers.

Thanks you,
Yoni

Re: Counting chart

I tried to create a pivot chart.
Don't know how to create separate columns by the values (1,2,3,4,5).
