    Mark margins in line chart

    Hello ,

Using a line chart or column chart. If you have % ( from 0 to 150) on vertical axis, and I want to mark the margin area between 95% to 105% . I waould like to mark this area in a color in order to easily see when my lines/colums are within the margin or not. any idea , how I should handle this? thanks in advance.JochenB

    Hi JochenB,

    Welcome to the forums.

Here is a step-by-step tutorial and a video tutorial showing you how to create a horizontal band on your chart:

How-to Create a Dynamic Banding on an Excel Line Chart

Please let me know if this helps.

    Hi JochenB,

    So glad it helped.

I would imagine that you either don't have the NO FIll series in your chart or you have them in the wrong order.

Let me know how it turns out.
