How To Produce A Pivot Table That Shows The Average Commission Percentage?

    Hi,

Is it possible to create a pivot table using the attached example data that shows the sales person in the row label and their average commission percentage earned in the values area?

    Thanks,

you can set a calculated field in the pivot table

and I have set the following as a new calculated field
    commission / sales
You do need to set the number format to decimal places , otherwise it will show 0 (zero)

    what version of excel
and do you want a percent of the sales

    see attached example

Boom, exactly what I was after! I knew it was possible I just couldn't figure out how to do it? I was trying to do it via 'value field settings' ---> 'show values as' but obviously to no avail.

    Thanks!
