    Non-overlapping scatter plot

    Hi,

    I am trying to create a scatter plot with several series. I expect that different series do not overlap above the same axis, but are displayed side-by-side. However, I'd like to have them in one plot.

    The x-axis may look like

    1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4
    series1 series2 series3

    It seems very easy to create a column chart in this format. Are there any solutions to scatter plot?

    It's not clear from your post how you data is, what you currently have and want you expect.

    Can you post example workbook and explain further, maybe use some shapes, how you expect the chart to appear.

    Briefly the data are

    Caucasian African-American Mexican-American
    1
    2
    3
    ...

    The scatter plot I created looks like

    But I prefer the plot lays out separately like the following column chart, with the data represented by points instead of column.

    given the 2 images I would say you need to provide x values in order to get the layout you require
