Chart question.

Hello everyone, I have a question that I unfortunately could not find the answer online. I have a constructed chart and I am trying to match it to an ideal solution (or as close as possible) by modifying the variables one at a time, would it be possible to modify a graph directly(by that I imagined point and drag, or any other ways which make it possible) such that the data from which is constructed updates automatically?

Did you try using the solver add-in? Graphs and charts in Excel are dependent on the data you put into them, so no click & drag is available (unless perhaps you do something extravagant with macros).

Thank you for your reply, I have been using goal seek as solver did not really manage to solve for all of the variables. I guess that what I asked is not currently possible.

You still may be able to create some formula that could include all your variables and be used to solve for them, but I am not able to help with that without knowing more about the variables and what you're trying to achieve.
