    Field names in Pivot Tables

    I am successfully creating a pivot table, except that I can't figure out how to display the actual field header names from my data columns. Instead, the pivot table shows the expression "Row Label" and "Column Label" I wish to display the actual field name. How can I do this?

    I believe you can click in the column header and just type....if you want if dynamic, that's a different story....

    I found a decent free tutorial which shows that you can go to pivot tools, select Design, then select Report Layout. Choosing either "Show Report in Outline format" or "Show Report in Tabular Format" automatically updates the labels to the actual field titles. Selecting either of these formats also cleans up the pivot table report, normalizing column and row widths, etc. for a more professional appearance. The Link to this free tutorial is here:
