Charting only the 10 max and min values

I need to put the 10 maximum and 10 minimum values in an array of data into the same chart along with the labels that correspond with them in another column. Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks

Probably. It would help if you could post a sample file that reflects your data structure, but has only dummy data, not real names etc.

What kind of chart do you have in mind?

You can create two pivot tables, pull the "Ticker" field into the row labels and the "Total Pnt" into the values. Filter the first pivot table by the top ten, the second pivot table by the bottom ten.

    That is your data source.

You can then construct a chart that plots these two non-contiguous ranges. Some values are in the hundreds or even thousands, others are single digits. This will be hard to visualise.

See attached with a column chart, using "invert if negative" to show negative columns in a different colour.

    cheers, teylyn
