    Pivot table issue

    Hi there,

I have a report I want to issue using pivot table and I don't know whether it is possible the way I want it...

I have a data base that goes something like this:
Customers - Country of origin - shops - month - Times entered - Times buying - Revenues

I attached the type of table I want to produce:
for each county I want to show a breakdown for shops with horizontal data of times entered --> times buying --> revenues, while the columns are the months (again you can see the file attached).

the problem is with pivot that when I enter more than 1 value to calculate it arranges them in columns.

is there any way to do this or I need to generate several table and to combine them somehow
of course there can be several countries, several shops per country and so on.

    thanks.

    Hi atlant15,

Can you show your expected layout ?
Also provide some dummy numbers. Thanks.

    Re: Pivot table issue

    Of course.

attached is another file with dummy data (On the left).
as you can see, there can be customers from many countires that for each month entered a different shop, bought something (or several things) and thier total expance (my revenues).

in the middle are 3 pivot tables, one for each value: Times Entered, Times Buying & Revenues.

what i wish to do is to have the 3 tables combined into 1 pivot table - as can be seen on the right; for each country and per shop (and per month) - the sums of 'times entered', 'times buying' & 'Revenues'.

i cannot do it like i do here with the 3 tables and to manually combine them as the data-base is hugh and i have many countries/customers/etc.

    thank you

    Re: Pivot table issue

Nothing much.. summed the three fields and then dragged the sum field(Sigma sign) from columns area to Row area
