Stacked column chart always represents smaller values than actual

This question is pretty self explanatory. Whenever I create a stacked column chart the corresponding chart numbers always seem to be around 10% smaller than they should be. Some times the values are very obviously wrong (the bar is below 60 when the value is 63). This happens anytime I create this chart and the solution that was previously given to me was to make a separate table just to make the chart reflect the numbers in the real chart. Needless to say this is a huge pain. Any ideas what the problem is?

    Thanks

Hopefully you can see the problem in this picture, the 934 bar is barely over 900 and the 728 bar is touching the 700 line. If necessary I could post a picture of something more obviously wrong where the bar is below the line it should be above.

Is your source data for the chart the data in the table in the picture? On possible problem may be that you've added an artificial third axis (a.k.a. put the graph in 3D), and the angle you see the column from skews your interpretation of the result, much like if you fill a measuring cup to exactly one cup with water while looking at it with your head level with the markings, then look at the water level compared to the markings from sitting on the floor or from standing up, with the cup on the table.

Wow, thanks a lot! I did not think about that I think I changed every other setting possible expect the 3D rotation, haha.
Is there a way to change the default chart so that it is not created with a 3D rotation? The x axis rotation is fine, it is the y axis that causes problems (for the same reason you suggested).

You're welcome! Not sure about changing the default options for 3D rotation. I typically only use a 3D chart if I have 3 axes of data (if I only have 2 axes, I only display my data in 2D). If you do find out though, let me know because I'd be interested to learn! I will let you know if I figure out anything, for now I will mark as solved. Thanks again this was causing me lots of headaches!
