Creating a pivot table from raw data with both row and column headings

    Hi,

I am trying to create a pivot table (I belive this is the best way to represent the data).

I have a type of doctor as the column headings at the top, and then I have a count of different things done for the different types. As you can see, there are some repeats of types, so I was thinking to create a pivot table in order to filter and get totals etc.

All the times I've made a pivot table, I only had column headings, and then I would create my pivot table (click and drag etc).

Is it possible to still create a pivot table using this raw data of having row and column headings?

    Hi,

Yes, of course. Just go to Insert/Pivot Table and enter the entire range in the Select a table or range box.

Let me know if you need any further help.
