I have a survey results spreadsheet from some polling data we did. Now some of the questions did not get an answer, but we need to have the answered data tabulated (with both the raw numbers and the percentage of TOTAL SURVEYS RETURNED).

So, I can get the data into the pivot table. I also can set up for the percentages of total. But the total is what is driving me crazy.

If we have 100 total surveys returned but, for example, question 1 (which has either a Yes or NO answer) is filled in by only, say 92 of the returned surveys, is there a way to get the Yes and NO reponses to be devided by the 100 number not the 98? I know we can do it by having the "blank" data in it but we don't want that shown in the totals.

Is this making sense? If so, is there a way to accomplish this with a pivot table? Or should we do it the "old fashioned way" by just creating a regular chart?

Thanks
