    Automatic clearing of a chart/table.

    Hello,
    I am trying to make my own weekly budget worksheet. I believe that I have everything working out the way I want. So basically I have a weekly income, and then all expenses that were paid that week.

    Some things, like gas for vehicle, eating out and misc items that I want to report on a daily basis. I have those totals worked into a value on a daily chart.

    This is my question, is there a way that the daily chart can automatically clear out at the end of a seven day period, so I don't have to copy another chart each week. Just start over on the original chart with new values.

    Welcome to the forum

    I suspect that the reason no one has picked up on this is that it is a little vague. There are many ways that you could have laid out your data, and this will affect the answer.

    If you load up a sample of what you have (all sensitive data removed), then someone will probably help.

    An easy way to do this is to select all the cells you want to clear at the end of the week and make these a named range. (I use "ToDelete"). Then you can create a macro to select that named range and delete the contents. An example of the actual VB code would be:
