Problem with Peltier Waterfall chart

Hello. I followed the instructions to create a waterfall chart on Peltier's website. http://peltiertech.com/WordPress/exc...bridge-charts/ However, one of the formulas he uses (column D in the worksheet I've posted) doesn't match up to what he has in the picture and the chart doesn't come out right. Does anyone know how this formula should be modified. I've placed what the numbers should be in column J of the worksheet. Thanks!!!

Try putting the chart on the spreadsheet and call out the areas that don't look how you want.

The formula in column F has a - sign between the = and MIN. Your formula doesn't have the - sign.

It didn't have the - sign in one cell but that didn't affect anything because it was a 0 value. Is there no one here who knows how to fix waterfall charts?

I copied all the data and the formulae, followed the instructions and got exactly the same chart as presented. Is this what you expect?

Jim -

You entered the formula incorrectly. Change
=MIN(SUM(B$2:B2),SUM(B$2,B3))
to
=MIN(SUM(B$2:B2),SUM(B$2:B3))
That is, change the errant comma in your formula to a colon.

There is a group of users attempting to help with your problem. Just because I asked you to do a little more work for yourself rather than each of us trying to replicate the chart itself and that newdoverman's first solution didn't fix your entire problem is no cause to lament that there's no one here who can fix your problem. The way you made that statement makes me feel like you're looking down on any help I'm attempting to provide you as inferior.
