Gantt chart Help

I want to create a gantt chart that should look like this

vertical axise should show the activites to be performed on each category
horizontal axis should show the time lines
and different colours should represent different categories

it should look like the graphi in attachment


Kindly assist me in making the chart providing guidelines about
how to arrange data in excel
and how to manage data in charts.
