Creating Pivot Table from Multiple Sheets

    Hello and Happy New Year
I am trying to create a single pivot table using data from multiple sheets (one per month). I am trying to summarise the headcounts (count of assignment number) by month in a single table and then be able to select single months/areas or combination of months/areas in the same way as a single sheet pivot table. I have managed to get the table part way there but it’s not counting the assignment number and my Jan data is not appearing (see attached). How do I fix this? (I have only used 5 months of year in example due to the large file size)
Alternatively is there a different or better way to this other than pivot table?
    Many thanks
    Regards

    Hi Cortlyn,

Is there a reason why you can't append each new month under the previous data on the same worksheet?

It would involve adding a new Column called 'Month' but would solve your problem to get 1 pivot.

Re: Creating Pivot Table from Multiple Sheets

    Hi noboffinme

I could.. but I have only given a sample of the data the full data sheets are 60+ columns wide and around 14000 rows each x12 months will make a very large spreadsheet tough. Also later months may have additional columns (but that easy to fix).

Thanks for the suggestion, I will give it a try.

    Regards
