Scroll bar not covering entire data

There is a problem with the scroll bar that I cannot solve. File attached. Sheet 1 contains the original data. Sheet 2 creates a sub-set of the original data (120 days) using the Index function.

The original data go from Jan 1, 2010 to Dec 31, 2013. But, the scroll bar hits the wall at Jan 18, 2013 and the chart goes blank. It just will not bring up the remaining data for 2013.

    What could be wrong here?

Re: Scroll bar not covering entire data

Your index formulas on Sheet2 reference rows 3-1000. That's 998 rows. When the scroll bar hits 999, you get #REF errors. Your data actually goes to row 1463. If you update your formulas accordingly it should work. Note that the scroll bar max value is 2000 but should be 1341, which is the number of rows of data minus the the number of points to plot. So if it's 1341, your 121st point to plot will reference the 1462nd data point.

BTW I can't figure out why you are using array formulas there.

Re: Scroll bar not covering entire data

    Hallo,
I tried to update the Index formulas. It works for the max and the min columns but not for the date column. I get an endless string of '####' in the date column. This column is formated as date. I find it really puzzling that I can update the Index formula in two out of three columns but not the first one.

I used the array formula in desparation since I am running in a similar problem with the standard offset/ counta formulas. There it is the start of the data series which I cannot bring up.

I very much appreciate your insight. You put your finger on the critical spot.

I am sorry. I made a typo when correcting the formula. Should have entered it from scratch to begin with. The graph now works as intended. Thank you very much for your help.
