XY Plot Chart Filling Background to show tolerances

Hi all,

I've managed to get my XY plot to show how I would like the data to read, however I'm stuck at getting the red, amber and green tolerances to fill the background.

I'd like to do this without just inputting a picture to the background as these tolerances change from time to time and from department to department I'm measuring.

I've attached my worksheet up to now with the chart and the tolerance measurements plotted in the chart (there's also an illustration of how I would like it to look).

I am working in Excel 2010, by the way.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can use additional series as area chart.

In order to get vertical edges to areas you need to specify 2 values for the end point.
The axis also needs to be Date, which is why the X values have been factored by 100.

Thanks for this, really appreciate it, its exactly what I need. Not entirely sure how to recreate this plotting with the dual axis and date format though.
