Cell S26 has been conditionally formatted as a list. Cell R26 has a formula that brings in certain info. I would like S26 to change to an empty cell if R26 has been changed to an empty cell due to the formula it contains. Is this even possible?

Edit... On the flip side I would like S26 to be a dropdown if R26 is not empty.

I've tried using the following formula in the cell validation for cell S26 but can't seem to get it to work.
=IF(R26<>" ",$O$18:$O$46," ")
I'm looking for this to allow a drop down list for the user.
