Sumproduct containing a non blank cell

=SUMPRODUCT(('Pre Sale AQ Data 2014'!$B:$B=Tables!B13)*('Pre Sale AQ Data 2014'!$C:$C>=Tables!$P$1)*('Pre Sale AQ Data 2014'!$C:$C<=Tables!$R$1)*(('Pre Sale AQ Data 2014'!$H:$H="SAGE")+('Pre Sale AQ Data 2014'!$H:$H="SAGPI")+('Pre Sale AQ Data 2014'!$H:$H="Admin")+('Pre Sale AQ Data 2014'!$H:$H="Justified")+('Pre Sale AQ Data 2014'!$H:$H="Complete")))

I currently have the formula above which is referencing Tables!B13 when looking in Pre Sale AQ Data. I don't want to reference B13 specifically but effectively count all non blank cells, I thought i should be able to change the first part too -

=SUMPRODUCT(('Pre Sale AQ Data 2014'!$B:$B="<>")

However this is now returning 0

Any ideas where im going wrong
